Are taxes withheld from partner remuneration?
Yes. For individuals who are residents of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the current legislation, rewards are paid after all taxes and mandatory payments are withheld and transferred to the budget.
For legal entities that are residents of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the current legislation, rewards are paid without withholding, as legal entities pay all taxes independently.
For individuals and legal entities who are non-residents of Kazakhstan, rewards are paid after a 20% withholding tax and mandatory payments to the budget. However, if the completed questionnaire and residency certificate are provided, no taxes will be withheld.
