Who can subscribe to the Student Tariff?
A client of Freedom Finance Global PLC with a valid document confirming enrollment at any university worldwide. The tariff is available regardless of Kazakhstan citizenship. There are no age restrictions for subscription (from 18 years old).
When will the tariff be available?
Subscriptions are open from 1 September 2026.
What if I don’t have a brokerage account?
You can open one online in 10 minutes via the Freedom Broker app.
What fee applies under the tariff?
Kazakhstan exchanges (KASE and AIX): 0.07 % of the transaction amount, including IPOs.
International markets (NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, Xetra, HKEX): 0.1 % of the transaction amount + $0.012 per security, and $1.2 per order (partially or fully executed).
ITS trading platform: 0.1 % of the transaction amount, but not less than $0.01 + $0.012 per security.
Options: $10 per trade + $3 per contract.
How long is the tariff valid?
1 year from the date of subscription.
Is the tariff automatically renewed?
No, automatic renewal is not provided.
Are there any restrictions on portfolio size?
No, there are no restrictions on the size of the investment portfolio. The tariff applies regardless of the amount of money or the value of assets in the account.
What is required to subscribe?
Open a brokerage account on the Freedom Broker platform, complete the application on the tariff page, provide the account number, and attach a document confirming enrollment at a university.
What happens one year after subscription?
After the special conditions expire, the account will be switched to the Investor Tariff.
