Scott Bessent said Beijing agreed to purchase 12 million tons of soybeans this year, while Washington postponed sanctions against Chinese companies. Meanwhile, Bank of America noted that Chinese equities and gold are the best hedges against the AI-driven market boom. In Europe, indices fell 0.4–0.7%. Inflation in the eurozone slowed but remained above 2% in October, confirming the ECB’s decision to keep borrowing costs unchanged. In Germany, inflation eased to 2%, supporting the regulator’s view that price growth is under control. In Asia, the Hang Seng rose 0.9%, while China’s CSI 300 gained 0.1%. Goldman Sachs raised its 2025 China real GDP growth forecast from 4.9% to 5% following the Trump–Xi meeting and the Communist Party plenum, expecting exports to grow 5–6% annually. Bonds. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield paused its rally, slipping slightly to 4.08% on Friday.
KASE Index. KASE posted two strong sessions of +1.3% each. Quotes are moving toward the upper boundary of the sideways trend. Key resistance levels are seen around 7,200 points.
Index stocks. BCC became the market leader, showing three consecutive growth sessions and breaking its local downtrend line — opening the way for recovery after the decline from September 4 to October 29. The nearest key resistance level is around ₸5,340.
Air Astana also continues its rebound, with the current momentum potentially turning into a medium-term uptrend after prolonged post-IPO weakness. Among GDRs and ADSs, Kaspi.kz gained 2.4% on Nasdaq on Friday — likely in reaction to its new payment services presentation that drew strong attention. Technically, however, the overall pattern remains unchanged, with shares still consolidating locally.
Kazatomprom added 1.4%, hitting a new all-time high.
Currency. USDKZT has remained in the ₸527–537 range for two sessions. This morning, the dollar eased slightly to ₸527.9. Overall, the tenge continues to maintain an upward trend.
