Freedom to Launch Cross‑Border Payments with Leading Chinese Companies
Freedom has signed agreements with leading Chinese technology firms. The Holding company will now work with Alipay and WeChat Pay to develop cross‑border payments in tenge and QR‑code payments in Kazakhstan and China; with Alibaba Cloud - to build cloud infrastructure based on the Akashi data center in Astana; with Baidu - on the Apollo Go autonomous taxi service; and with Geely - on charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and AI technologies for the automotive industry. The company also plans to localize agricultural drones and unmanned delivery solutions.

Freedom Holding Corp. Raises $300 Million via Share Placement
The Holding company has completed a private placement of over 2.3 million shares at $126.35 per share. The funds raised will be used to further develop the business and expand Freedom’s ecosystem internationally.
S&P Global Ratings Upgrades Freedom Companies’ Ratings to ‘BB‑’ with Stable Outlook
S&P Global Ratings has upgraded the long‑term credit ratings of Kazakhstan’s brokerage firms and bank, as well as the European broker, from ‘B+’ to ‘BB‑’. The long‑term credit rating of Freedom Holding Corp. has been affirmed at ‘B‑’. The improved ratings reflect the strengthening of the group’s risk management and compliance systems.
Kazakhstan to Host Largest AI Cluster - Freedom AI
Freedom, in conjunction with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, and the US bank Citi, has signed an agreement to establish a world‑class AI cluster - the Freedom AI Super Cluster. The cluster will feature high‑performance capacities required to launch AI‑based projects. It will operate in compliance with Kazakhstan legislation and personal data protection regulations.

Freedom Holding Corp. Posts Record Annual Revenue and Doubles Profit
The Holding company has published its financial statements for FY2026. Freedom significantly improved its financial metrics: it achieved annual revenue of $2.19 billion and total assets of $13.16 billion. The customer base has grown: 858,000 people use brokerage products, over 5.4 million use banking services, and more than 1 million people use insurance products.
Freedom also released its Q2 FY2027 results. During this period, revenue increased by 40 % YoY, reaching $156.7 million.
Timur Turlov Becomes Official Candidate for FIDE Presidency
Timur Turlov has served as president of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation (KazChess) for three years and is now running for president of the International Chess Federation (FIDE). He plans to digitalize FIDE’s infrastructure and processes and strengthen ties between chess federations in different countries.
Freedom Holding Corp. Completes Acquisition of a Bank in Turkey
Freedom acquired a controlling stake in Turkish Bank A.Ş. This asset has become the basis for a new subsidiary of the Holding company - Freedom Bank A.Ş. The next step is to launch the bank’s operations in Turkey, followed by the deployment the Freedom SuperApp in this market - a product that has gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan.
