Стартап по доставке продуктов Instacart снизил свою внутреннюю оценку до $10 млрд, сообщило во вторник издание Information со ссылкой на двух источников, знакомых с ситуацией.


Новая оценка ниже предыдущей на 20% — в октябре компания оценивалась в $13 млрд. В марте уже было снижение еще на 40%. 


В прошлом году Instacart был оценен в $39 млрд. Компания стала популярной в период пандемии, поскольку карантин увеличил количество доставок на дом, но недавнее снижение ее оценки подчеркивает влияние волатильности публичного рынка на частные компании. Стартап также отложил свое долгожданное IPO в этом году из-за неопределенности на рынке.



«Компания-стартап по доставке продуктов Instacart, ранее собиравшаяся провести IPO в 2022 году, в очередной раз объявила о снижении оценки собственной рыночной стоимости до $10 млрд. Это уже третий пересмотр компанией оценки стоимости в 2022 году. Годом ранее Instacart оценивала себя почти в $39 млрд, так как ее бизнес в 2020-2021 годах очень быстро рос по причине пандемии и локдаунов, когда в США резко вырос спрос на доставку продуктов на дом, однако в текущем году из-за кризисных явлений в экономике США рост компании замедлился. В связи с этим компания постоянно пересматривает оценку в сторону понижения, а перспективы ее IPO пока неясны. Но в любом случае, даже если эта компания все-таки проведет публичное размещение акций, инвесторам следует помнить, что вложения в стартап — дело рискованное, и риск не всегда может оправдаться быстрой и высокой доходностью вложений», — комментирует ведущий аналитик Freedom Finance Global Наталья Мильчакова.
