Основанная Илоном Маском компания xAI рассматривает возможность привлечь инвестиций в размере $10 млрд, сообщает Reuters.


В рамках процедуры оценку корпорации могут повысить до $75 млрд. Переговоры об участии в раунде финансирования ведут существующие инвесторы, включая Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz и Valor Equity Partners. Однако окончательные условия сделки пока не определены. 


Стартап xAI стремительно привлекает инвестиции: в декабре компания объявила о привлечении $6 млрд в рамках раунда Series C. В мае компания также привлекла аналогичную сумму. Последняя оценка компании составляла около $51 млрд. Ключевой продукт xAI — чат-бот Grok, интегрированный в социальную сеть X (ранее Twitter).


Аналитик Freedom Finance Global Владимир Чернов уверен, что привлечение $10 млрд не станет какой-то проблемой для Илона Маска, особенно в свете его дружбы с президентом США Дональдом Трампом. Но для рядовых инвесторов данная новость пока не имеет никакого значения, так как стартап xAI пока не имеет листинга на фондовых площадках и извлечь финансовую выгоды от его роста пока нельзя.
