Компании OpenAI и Meta Platforms (META) ведут переговоры с индийским конгломератом Reliance Industries о потенциальном сотрудничестве в сфере искусственного интеллекта в Индии, сообщает Reuters.


Одна из ключевых тем обсуждения — распространение ChatGPT в Индии через Reliance Jio, дочернюю компанию Reliance. OpenAI также рассматривает возможность снижения стоимости подписки на ChatGPT до нескольких долларов в месяц, что значительно дешевле текущих $20.


Возглавляемая Мукешем Амбани Reliance также изучает возможность хостинга и локального запуска моделей OpenAI для защиты конфиденциальности данных. Важную роль в этом может сыграть строительство гигантского дата-центра мощностью три гигаватта в городе Джамнагар в штате Гуджарат, где могут размещаться серверы OpenAI и Meta.


Пока ни одна из сторон официально не подтвердила детали переговоров, однако партнёрство может значительно расширить влияние ИИ в Индии и укрепить позиции Reliance на технологическом рынке.


Сотрудничество с Reliance позволит OpenAI и ее ChatGPT охватить большую аудиторию, как и снижение стоимости подписки на него, что в перспективе должно перерасти к наращиванию темпов роста выручки компании, считает аналитик Freedom Finance Global Владимир Чернов. Так как компания пока не является публичной, то влияние данной новости на фондовый рынок США должно быть ограничено, однако акции Meta наверняка немного вырастут в цене на открытии торгов на NASDAQ.
