Трамп заявил, что может снизить пошлины для Китая ради заключения сделки с TikTok

Президент США Дональд Трамп допустил возможность снизить пошлины на китайские товары в обмен на одобрение Пекином сделки по продаже TikTok, что позволит социальной сети продолжить работу в стране, сообщает Reuters. 


По его словам, существуют различные варианты продажи TikTok, и будет выбран тот, который «наилучшим образом соответствует интересам США». Трамп отметил, что для стимулирования Китая к согласию он готов рассмотреть частичное снижение тарифов. Он подчеркнул, что каждое из действующих пошлинных положений приносит в бюджет больше денег, чем потенциальная стоимость TikTok, поэтому уступки в этом вопросе могли бы стать инструментом давления на Пекин.


Американский лидер также подтвердил возможность продления отсрочки блокировки TikTok в США, срок которой истекает 5 апреля. Ранее он подписал указ, позволяющий отсрочить запрет на деятельность платформы минимум на 75 дней.


В марте Трамп удвоил пошлины на китайские товары и повысил их с 10% до 20%. Решение он объяснил неспособностью Китая принять меры по борьбе с поставками синтетических опиоидов, включая фентанил. Однако в контексте сделки по TikTok он заявил, что готов пойти на определенные уступки.


Заявление президента США Трампа о том, что он введёт 25%-ные пошлины на импорт автомобилей со всего мира, начиная с 2 апреля, испугало мировые фондовые рынки, в том числе, американский, поскольку индекс S&P 500 после этого заявления завершил 26 марта торговый день падением на 1,12%, отмечает ведущий аналитик Freedom Finance Global Наталья Мильчакова. 


Однако вполне возможно, что будущие пошлины не нанесут ущерба ни китайской, ни всей остальной мировой экономике, так как Трамп с высокой вероятностью использует угрозы введения пошлин для заключения выгодных американскому бизнесу сделок, в частности, надеясь оказать давление на Китай с целью продать бизнес TikTok в США американскому инвестору.
