Synopsys приостанавливает продажи в Китае из-за экспортных ограничений США

Разработчик программного обеспечения для проектирования полупроводников Synopsys Inc. (SNPS) приостановил все продажи, оказание услуг и прием новых заказов в Китае, передаёт Reuters. 


Такое решение было принято после получения уведомления от Бюро промышленности и безопасности Министерства торговли США о введении новых экспортных ограничений в отношении поставок в Китай. Ограничения касаются поставок ряда ключевых технологий, включая программное обеспечение для проектирования микросхем и химикаты, используемые в производстве полупроводников. Помимо требования получать лицензии на экспорт, отозваны ранее выданные лицензии для некоторых поставщиков, в том числе тех, кто сотрудничает с китайскими компаниями.


На фоне регуляторных изменений Synopsys приостановила публикацию своих финансовых прогнозов — как на текущий квартал, так и на весь финансовый год. Компания официально заявила, что оценивает потенциальное влияние новых ограничений на свой бизнес, операционные результаты и финансовое положение.


Новые санкции администрации президента Трампа против китайского бизнеса вступили в силу, и их первой жертвой стала IT-компания Synopsis, так как программное обеспечение, применяемое в производстве микросхем, которое разрабатывает, в том числе, Synopsis, подпало под экспортный контроль, подчёркивает ведущий аналитик Freedom Finance Global Наталья Мильчакова. Для Synopsis последствия санкций проявятся в изменении прогноза годовых финансовых результатов в сторону уменьшения, а также как минимум в потере доли на китайском рынке или даже полном прекращении операций в Китае, что в любом случае на её будущие финансовые результаты положительно не повлияет.
