US Steel прекращает торги на NYSE после завершения поглощения Nippon Steel

Японская корпорация Nippon Steel завершила приобретение United States Steel Corp. за $14,1 млрд, после чего Нью-Йоркская фондовая биржа приостановила торги акциями американской металлургической компании, передаёт CNBC.

Делистинг акций официально вступит в силу 30 июня. Согласно условиям сделки, U.S. Steel станет стопроцентной дочерней компанией Nippon Steel North America, при этом сохранит своё название и штаб-квартиру в Питтсбурге. Японская сторона также взяла на себя обязательства по инвестициям в размере $11 млрд до 2028 года, включая финансирование новых промышленных проектов.

Ведущий аналитик Freedom Finance Global Наталья Мильчакова подчёркивает, что Nippon Steel после этой исторической сделки станет крупнейшим производителем стали в мире. Полностью процедура делистинга бумаг US Steel завершится к 30 июня, при этом акции японской Nippon Steel по-прежнему будут торговаться на Токийской фондовой бирже, а депозитарные расписки на эти акции останутся доступными на внебиржевом рынке США.

Президент США Дональд Трамп в течение нескольких недель настаивал на сохранении американской собственности, называя соглашение «партнёрством», однако в итоговой структуре U.S. Steel полностью переходит под контроль японского холдинга. В качестве компромисса американская сторона получит в объединённой компании так называемую «золотую акцию», обеспечивающую определённые права в стратегических вопросах.
