Международная фондовая биржа Nasdaq направила в Комиссию по ценным бумагам и биржам США предложение об увеличении лимитов позиций по опционам на принадлежащий BlackRock (BLK) ETF-фонд iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), пишет Blloomberg.

В документе предлагается повысить действующий лимит с 250 тыс. до 1 млн контрактов. Такое изменение приравняет опционы IBIT к крупнейшим акциям и ETF, включая Apple (AAPL), Nvidia (NVDA) и SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY).

В заявке Nasdaq указано, что текущий лимит ограничивает торговую активность и не позволяет инвесторам применять полноценные стратегии хеджирования и управления рисками. Биржа отмечает растущий спрос на продукт и считает, что увеличение лимита поддержит дальнейшее развитие рынка деривативов на основе IBIT.

Повышение лимита откроет возможность формировать более крупные позиции и расширять ликвидность инструмента, отмечает Bloomberg.
