In response to inquiries regarding the inability to purchase bonds of certain issuers through the Freedom Broker platform, the Company considers it necessary to provide an official clarification of the reasons for the introduced restrictions and to reaffirm its position on this matter.

The restrictions on the purchase of bonds of certain issuers are directly related to the compliance policy consistently implemented by Freedom Broker. This policy represents a comprehensive framework of measures and procedures aimed at ensuring strict adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, standards, and internal rules. Compliance plays a critical role in preventing violations, mitigating financial and legal risks, and ensuring transparency of all operations. Any decisions made within the compliance framework are intended to safeguard client interests and maintain trust.

An additional factor contributing to the strengthening of control measures was the recent decision by the regulator to suspend the license of one of the microfinance organizations (https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/ardfm/press/news/details/1148247). This development served as an important signal for the Company to enhance oversight of transactions involving securities of certain issuers in order to further protect client interests and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Please note that these restrictions do not apply to the submission of sell orders for bonds held in clients’ brokerage accounts via the Freedom Broker trading platform.
