On August 7, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) reported a loss of $34.1 million (18 cents per share) for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, compared with a loss of $11.9 million (7 cents per share) a year earlier.
Revenue for the period increased to $1.534 billion from $1.504 billion a year earlier. Total Net Bookings fell 3% to $1.39 billion, exceeding the company’s own forecast. The company had previously been expected to post a loss of 20 cents per share on revenue of $1.35 billion.
For the second quarter, the company forecasts Net Bookings in the range of $1.62–1.67 billion, compared with a consensus forecast of $1.85 billion. For fiscal 2027, Take-Two expects bookings of $8-8.2 billion, versus a consensus forecast of $8.53 billion, amid confirmation of the exact release date for Grand Theft Auto VI — November 19, 2026.
