On August 18, Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE: HD) reported net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2026 of $4.8 billion ($4.79 per share), compared with $4.55 billion ($4.58 per share) a year earlier.
Adjusted earnings per share came to $4.92. Revenue for the period rose 5.7% to $47.86 billion versus $45.28 billion in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings were expected at $4.73 per share on revenue of $47.27 billion. Comparable sales at the company’s stores increased 1.7%, and in the U.S. — 1.3%. Home Depot reaffirmed its full-year guidance and continues to expect total sales growth in the range of 2.5% to 4.5%, with adjusted earnings per share growth of 0% to 4.0%.
