On August 19, Wolfspeed, Inc. (NYSE: WOLF) reported a loss of $145.4 million ($2.81 per share) in the fourth fiscal quarter, compared with a loss of $669.3 million ($4.30 per share) a year earlier.
The adjusted loss was $2.26 per share. Revenue for the reporting period fell to $149.6 million from $197.0 million in the same period last year. The adjusted loss had been expected at $2.45 per share on revenue of about $150.0 million. The company noted that data center sales volume for the quarter rose by 20%, and doubled for the full fiscal year.
For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, the company expects revenue in the range of $140–160 million, while adjusted gross margin is still projected to be negative.
