Freedom Broker analysts have presented their investment idea of the day for shares of Bloom Energy Corporation (BE), one of the key suppliers of autonomous power solutions for AI data centers. The recommendation is “Buy,” with a target price of $250. At the current price of $235.5, the upside is about 6.2%.

What Bloom Energy does

Bloom Energy develops solid oxide fuel cells for on-site power generation. Its Bloom Energy Server systems can run on natural gas, biogas, or hydrogen and supply facilities with electricity without relying on the traditional power grid.

Such solutions are in demand among data centers, hospitals, banks, and telecom companies that need reliable, quickly deployable power supply.

AI data centers accelerate order growth

According to Freedom Broker analysts, the key argument in favor of the stock remains rapidly rising electricity demand from AI infrastructure. Bloom Energy’s order backlog exceeded $20 billion at the end of 2025 and grew 140% year over year. After releasing its Q2 results, the company raised its 2026 revenue growth outlook from 60% to about 80% at the midpoint of the range.

Bloom Energy is also expanding cooperation with the largest technology and investment companies. In April, its agreement with Oracle (ORCL) was expanded to 2.8 GW of capacity, including 1.2 GW already contracted. In May, the company signed a contract with tech firm Nebius Group (NBIS) worth up to $2.6 billion with guaranteed capacity of 250 MW.

Purchases by the Pelosi family supported interest in the stock

An additional market signal came from transactions disclosed by the household of politician and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. In July, it bought 15,000 Bloom Energy shares and 200 call options with a $100 strike and an expiration in June 2027. The total size of the four transactions is estimated at $3–12 million.

Analysts also note a constructive technical setup: the shares are above key moving averages, and the RSI indicator does not point to pronounced overbought conditions. At the same time, the idea falls into the high-risk category: the stock’s beta (a measure reflecting sensitivity to market movements) is 4.29, and over the past year its price has risen 323.1%.

Quarterly revenue surpasses $1 billion for the first time

In Q2 2026, Bloom Energy posted record revenue of $1.07 billion—up 165.5% from $401.2 million a year earlier. Equipment sales rose 215.4% to $935.4 million. Gross margin increased from 26.7% to 33.4%, and the company moved from an operating loss of $3.5 million to operating profit of $182.2 million. Net income attributable to common shareholders reached $196.3 million versus a loss of $42.6 million a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share were $0.62 versus a loss of $0.18.

The results confirmed not only rapid growth but also improving business quality. Operating cash flow totaled $226.4 million versus an outflow of $213.1 million a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA increased from $41.2 million to $253.4 million. After the record quarter, Bloom Energy raised its 2026 revenue forecast to $3.9–4.2 billion, which implies 100% growth at the midpoint. The company also expects adjusted operating profit of $800–900 million and adjusted EPS of $2.55–2.85.

Power for Project Jupiter AI

In January 2024, BofA Securities analysts doubted Bloom Energy’s ability to accelerate revenue growth. At the time, the stock was downgraded to “Underperform,” and the target price was cut from $16 to $10 amid a lack of notable commercial success. However, in Q2 2026 the company’s revenue surpassed $1 billion for the first time and rose 165.5% year over year,
