Американские автопроизводители General Motors Co. (GM, NYSE) и Ford Motor Co. (F, NYSE) в течение нынешнего года добавят в свой премиальный сегмент больше кроссоверов. Вероятно, это обеспечит компаниям дополнительные продажи в ближайшие 2-3 года.Сейчас компания Ford модернизирует модельный ряд своих автомобилей Lincoln. К концу 2019 г. в линейке Lincoln появятся три свежих кроссовера, включая Lincoln Aviator и Lincoln Corsair. Кроме того, компания продолжит продажи популярного полноразмерного внедорожника Navigator. Отметим, что новая версия Lincoln Navigator была хорошо принята клиентами. Американские поставки модели выросли почти на 70% до 17 839 единиц в прошлом году.Премиальный бренд Cadillac от General Motors также получит ряд обновлений. Тогда в продажу поступил компактный кроссовер Cadillac XT4, который быстро стал лидером сегмента с более чем 7 000 поставками в США в первом квартале 2019 г. и более чем 7 000поставками во втором квартале. При этом Cadillac XT4 отнял часть продаж у более крупного Cadillac XT5, но общие продажи кроссоверов Cadillac в США выросли на 19% в прошлом году. Недавно General Motors добавила к этой линейке полноразмерный кроссовер Cadillac XT6, что может привести к ускорению продаж марки.Таким образом, и Ford, и General Motors усилили свой модельный ряд премиальными кроссоверами – востребованным видом автомобилей в США. Ожидается, что благодаря этим решениям продажи Cadillac и Lincoln могут расти в 2020-2021 гг. и могут обеспечить автопроизводителям дополнительный денежный поток для инвестиций в новые технологии.На торгах 10 июля акция F стоила $10,11.Акция GM на торгах 10 июля стоила $38,1.
