What is auto-renewal?
Auto-renewal is an additional feature for the Long-Term Fund Placement product with SOFR/EURIBOR rates.
It allows you to avoid manually tracking the maturity date of each placement. When the current term expires, Freedom Finance Global PLC automatically reinvests your funds for the same period. The placement amount is increased by the accrued interest, while the interest rate is updated as of the renewal date.
The feature may be activated before making a new placement or added to an already active placement.
How to enable auto-renewal?
In the Freedom Broker mobile app:
- Open the Menu → Orders section
- Go to Cash Funds → Long-Term Fund Placement
- Specify the placement amount and term
- Check the box “Automatically renew placement”
- Confirm the order
On the freedombroker.kz web platform:
- Open the Account section
- In the left-side menu, go to Cash Funds → Long-Term Fund Placement
- Open a security session
- Specify the placement amount and term
- Check the box “Automatically renew placement”
- Confirm the order
Enabling this option means that you provide a standing instruction for automatic renewal — it will remain in effect until you cancel it.
Is the interest rate fixed?
No. The interest rate is not fixed — when auto-renewal is enabled, the rate is determined on the date of each new renewal.
Current rates are available in the app or on the website. They may increase or decrease depending on the current SOFR and EURIBOR interbank rates.
How many times may the placement be renewed?
An unlimited number of times — until you cancel the option or one of the termination conditions occurs.
When will auto-renewal stop?
- There are insufficient funds in the account for a new placement
- The account has been closed or blocked
- You disable the option yourself in the app or on the website
If the renewal cannot be completed, Freedom Finance Global PLC will send you an email notification suggesting that you place the funds manually.
May I withdraw funds early if auto-renewal is enabled?
Early termination or modification of the placement terms is only possible subject to approval by Freedom Finance Global PLC. If you need to withdraw funds before maturity, please contact your personal manager or Freedom Broker support.
