The portfolio reflects information about your stocks or other securities that you have purchased (that is, opened a position). Also here you can see the amount of available funds for new transactions.
In the browser version of the Freedom Broker platform, your portfolio is located in the "Profile" section.
In the mobile application in the "Portfolio" section.
What is available in the "Portfolio" section?
1. Position information
You can view changes in positions on your securities, the total transaction amount, and the current profit and loss for each security. If necessary, you can open the card of a specific stock and see detailed information: the entry price of transaction or the security portion in your portfolio.
2. Selling or buying stocks
If you wish, you can purchase additional stocks for which you already have an open position, or sell such stocks directly from your portfolio. To do this, click on the security in the portfolio and click “Buy” or “Sell”.
3. Setting Stop Loss and Take Profit orders
Set protective Stop Loss orders to automatically close trades to limit possible losses. Set the price of the Take Profit order, which will help you to fix profit when the stock rises to a certain level. To do this, also click on the security and select Stop Loss or Take Profit.
4. View the account risk level
If you bought all the stocks with your own funds and you still have funds available in your account, your portfolio risk will be low. For some trades you can use funds borrowed from Freedom Broker: "leverage" or "margin". The more such transactions, the higher the risk of the entire portfolio. Related information can also be found in the “Portfolio” section. To mitigate risk, you need to top up your account, then your funds will cover the borrowed capital better.
