When opening a brokerage (trading) account with Freedom Finance Global PLC, a special savings sub-account (D-account) is automatically opened for you.
Through a trading account, you can make transactions on stock exchanges - buy and sell securities.
The D-account is a special savings sub-account that can be used to fund your trading account, store funds, and withdraw money. Transfers between the trading account and the D-account are almost instant and free of charge.
You may also receive daily income on the balance of the D-account in USD, KZT, EUR. You may view current rates and calculate potential income in a special calculator on the Freedom Finance Global PLC website.
By placing funds in USD, EUR, or KZT on the D-account, the client instructs the broker to conduct overnight REPO transactions in the client’s interest in accordance with Appendix 6 of the Regulations and applicable interest rates.
The yield is linked to interbank rates SOFR* and EURIBOR**
Note!
*SOFR means the daily Secured Overnight Financing Rate published by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as rate administrator (or successor administrator with respect to the rate) on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Website.
*EURIBOR means the Euro funding rate known as the Euro Interbank Offered Rate provided by the European Money Markets Institute, as administrator of such rate (or successor administrator in respect of such rate).
D-Account Limitations
The D-account is a special savings sub-account, so funds held in it cannot be used for trading. To execute trades on stock markets, you need to transfer funds to your trading account.
