The Freedom Broker platform offers advanced automation, data and trading systems capabilities to advanced users and developers.
There are two main options:
- Application Programming Interface (API) open sources
- Connection via FIX protocol.
Freedom Broker API
In the API section you will find detailed documentation describing many functions for integration and interaction with the Freedom Broker trading system. Main sections:
- Authorization: methods for logging in using login and password or API key, obtaining initial user data and information about the current session.
- Security sessions: managing security sessions, including obtaining a list of open sessions and opening them using SMS, web token or electronic digital signature.
- Quotes and Tickers:Working with securities – obtaining lists, adding and deleting tickers, subscribing to quote updates and obtaining historical data.
- Portfolio:obtaining information about the user’s portfolio and subscribing to changes.
- Orders:managing orders – obtaining current and historical data, sending orders for execution, setting Stop Loss and Take Profit, and canceling orders.
- Price Alerts:creating, receiving and deleting price alerts.
- Orders:receiving the history of client orders and related files, and sending feedback.
- Broker reports:receiving brokerage and depository reports, as well as information on cash flows.
- Currencies:receiving exchange ratesat a specified date and a list of available currencies.
- WebSocket and Real-Time Data: Connection to a WebSocket server to receive real-time updates of quotes, order book, changes in security session, portfolio, orders and market status.
- Miscellaneous: additional information such as a list of active Freedom Broker offices, system file names, trading platforms, instrument data, order types, user form fields, document types, codes and errors, order statuses and security issues.
Connection via FIX protocol to the Freedom Broker trading system allows you to automate trading and implement your own trading strategies.
